Meet our Turk.
What does it do? Can I use it for my Skynet government project?
Well…our Turk does some very heavy lifting. You see, quality is important to you. Yeah, admit it. You like the low price, but what’s it worth if your shiny new purchase is DOA, or suddenly won’t work? Guess what? We love quality too! That’s why we spent beaucoup bucks designing, building and testing the Turk.
Why?
To begin with, the goLINK is complicated. Not only does it have to communicate with (9) different vehicle protocols, but it also has to communicate with an iPhone / iPod touch, and provide charging power. That’s a lot of stuff. And we all know Murphy’s law…
So how does it work?
We start by plugging in the goLINK into the Turk. Next, the Turk loads the goLINK production code. After that, (24) separate continuity and voltage checks are performed. Then (12) dynamic tests. And finally, a real-world communication test to verify all of the protocols.
That’s a lot of checks! In fact, we’d be willing to wager that at the goLINK price point, there is no product that even comes close to being tested as thoroughly as the goLINK.

It’s a merry, festive time at GoPoint. We took a field trip to our CM (in the USA!) and they are ready for the goLINK! We’re shipping in January — get your name on the list.

Hard to believe Vegas is almost over. Our feet are killing. We’re beat. Probably stayed out playing a little too much. But all in all the goPoint entourage has had a fabulous time meeting with people this week.
